Primary Interventions

The Courtyard Alternative Provision Academy

Provides suitable off site provision for up to 16 f.t.e. pupils who may not be able to attend mainstream schools. The school provides full and part time placements for years 1 to 6 learners who have been permanently excluded from school; where a managed move between schools is being considered but where a short term placement in specialist provision would be supportive; pupils not attending school and where a short term placement would be appropriate to re-establish good attendance. Eight of the placements are identified for learners with statements of SEN indicating SEBD.

Pupil Inclusion Development Service

A team of teacher consultants and development workers provide a range of interventions in primary schools primarily in Hammersmith and Fulham. The focus of intervention includes individuals; classes; groups; teachers; support staff ; whole school staff; parents’ groups and projects.

Behaviour Intervention Team

A team of 3 f.t.e. specialist teachers supporting the inclusion of primary learners whose behavior is causing concern. BIT offers interventions at an individual, group, class and whole school level. The team also offers CPD to schools on behavioural issues, including NQT and TA induction, and supporting pupils with ADHD.

Westminster Primary Schools

TBAP is in discussion with primary schools in Westminster regarding the possible development of out of school and in school provision based in Westminster. In the meantime schools in Westminster can commission support from the Primary Inclusion Development Service (PIDS) based in Westminster or the Behaviour Intervention Team(BIT) based in RBKC.
